Wreck of the Beautiful Betsy

Beautiful Betsy was an American Consolidated B-24D Liberator bomber that went missing on the 26th February 1945 on a flight from Darwin to Brisbane. The wreckage of the aircraft was discovered in Kroombit Tops National Park on the 2nd August 1994.
