Family Cuculidae (Cuckoos)

The family Cuculidae are Parasitic Cuckoos - small to large, long-tailed birds with narrow wings and fast, undulating flight. They generally have repetitive calls with ventriloquial qualities. They lay their eggs in the nests of other birds species, which raise the Cuckoo chicks as their own - a process known as nest parasitism.
